On the eve of the new year, the 2025 edition of EPHJ to be held from 3 to 6 June is taking shape. It was presented to exhibitors by Alexandre Catton, director of the event, at the now traditional breakfasts held in various cities. The Bern edition welcomed Yves Bugmann, President of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry, along with Ludovic Voillat, Secretary General of the Swiss Watch Industry Employers’ Association, to give an overview of the industry.
The Break Free collection highlighted the iconic creations of Keith Haring. It has now been enriched by four new models created by a new generation of artists. The brief was to draw inspiration from the 1984 world breakdancing championship held at the Roxy in New York. The result: four unique visions of this event, straight from the imagination of the selected artists (Grotesk, Bao Ho, Thandiwe Muriu and Hattie Stewart) and featured on a Swatch of their choice.

Breitling has decided to support the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation in its mission to assist Swiss athletes. To mark the foundation’s 55th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2025, the watch Maison has unveiled a new limited edition. The Breitling Chronomat GMT Sporthilfe Limited Edition will be produced in a run of 70 timepieces paying tribute to the year in which the foundation was created.
Unveiled this autumn, the new Octo Finissimo watch was designed by Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Bulgari’s Watches Design Center Senior Director, in collaboration with Laurent Grasso. From case to bracelet, the timepiece is draped in a midnight-blue mantle subtly reflecting the light. A cloud adorning the dial centre lights up this dark sky with a shimmering rainbow efect.
Where the magic of watchmaking comes to life... Some 30 workshops, Manufactures and institutions opened their doors to the public from 31 October to 3 November this year. This 11th edition of the Watch Heritage Biennial once again revealed the teeming ecosystem of time measurement, giving 4,500 curious visitors the chance to discover what goes on behind the scenes.
